Marr graduated from Duncan of Jordanstone College in 1999. Since then she has continued to create stunning oil paintings of the human figure. Her solo exhibition at the Art Exposure Gallery in Glasgow in 2001 featured individual bodies rotating, levitating and floating in zero gravity.
To accompany her work in the Degree Show, she wrote: “For centuries now, the figure has played a prominent part in the artworld… It is a subject that will never become repetitive… The combination of difference and the not so different basic skeletal structure is what maintains our interest and fascination with the human figure in art.”
