This is a section of riveted plate from the Puffer Spartan. Puffers were small cargo boats which provided a vital supply link along the west coast and islands of Scotland.
On loan from the Scottish Maritime Museum.
The Puffer Boat Spartan is now located at the Scottish Maritime Museum at Irvine, where she is part of a major restoration project.
