Timorous Beasties are Scottish designers, Alistair McAuley and Paul Simmons. A great deal of their inspiration comes from history, which is mixed with modern techniques and emblems. They have been shown throughout the world and one of their most iconic designs are their toiles, which at first glance are reminiscent of idyllic textile designs from the 1800s, but at a closer look you will see drug addicts and CCTV cameras portrayed.
