1st Generation Apple iPod

On October 23, 2001, Apple took the world of portable electronics by storm with the iPod. Containing a micro audio chip created by Wolfson Microelectronics of Edinburgh, this initial model would go on to spawn the most popular line of mp3 players worldwide.

I bought the first generation iPod to keep me company on an artists residency in Auckland in 2002. The problem was that i didnt understand the amount of songs that it could hold and didnt take nearly enough tracks with me!
