This object is not mine. It's on the first story at the Henry Morley Building in University College London. It is a remnant of an era where message boards and 'feeds' were written on chalk, read, then deleted, sometimes leaving a faint trace behind. In more than three years I have never seen anything written on it, but the board seems haunted by the ghost of messages past. Who wrote on it? What did they say? What does that blackboard know of UCL and the building? Where will it go after the Department of Information Studies moves out?
