One of the first WALTHER calculating machines
The WALTHER RM is a 1926 built pinwheel calculator. The Walther company was founded as an arms manufacture in 1886 in Zella-Mehlis, Thüringen, Germany; it is still famous for the it's pistols. In 1924 Walther began building calculating machines of the traditional pinwheel type. So this machine is one of the first Walther calculators. The RM is often labeled 10*8*13 according to the number of numerals of the 3 registers (10=input, 8=number of turns, 13=result).
