New Scientist Place the First Tag
Its April 9th 2010 and we are in the testing phase for printing 'stickers' linked to memories for Tales of Things. The UCL Quad seems a first natural test of the system so we are about to head out assign the qrcode. As the site is about stories and memories linked to objects, the Quad is being tagged as part of an article in New Scientist following a phone call with their Technology Editor on tagging objects. This tag will remain on the quad and can be read/written to as people scan the code, using the Tales of Things iPhone app your also be able to add your own 'Tale' which will become part of this first step in the TOTeM project. The project is funded by the EPSRC as part of the digital economy programme and is a collaboration between: Brunel University, Edinburgh College of Art, University College London, University of Dundee, University of Salford.
