Welcome to Tales of Things at the Museum In the Scotland: A Changing Nation gallery, we have selected 80 objects featuring a QR code linking to additional information about the objects, such as films from the Scottish Screen Archive. Scotland: A Changing Nation looks at Scotland's history in the 20th and 21st centuries and so a lot of objects are within people's living memory. Tales of Things at the Museum

Hillman Imp Deluxe Motor Car

We have now tagged around 80 objects in the Scotland: A Changing Nation gallery as part of the Edinburgh International Science Festival. This video is an example of the types of objects that are tagged in the Museum, please help us by adding your tale to the Hillman Imp clip.

The Hillman Imp was built by Rootes Motors, a subsidiary of Chrysler, at Linwood, Paisley, Scotland, July 1973.

This film belongs to the Scottish Screen Archive and is taken from the film 'YOUNG IN HEART' (1963), sponsored by the Films of Scotland Committee and the Rootes Group.
